Kris Munthe, app and game adviser at Barnevakten, will provide useful information about how to make Roblox and Among Us safer for children. Get concrete advice and guidance about useful settings that can be adjusted within these games.

Did you know that…? 

• Roblox is one of the most popular games among children ages nine to fourteen. More than half of children ages nine to ten play Roblox (Barn og Medier, 2020)
• Among Us has gone viral and «every» child plays this game
• Both games have unrestricted, public chat and the possibility of in-game purchases
• It is possible to choose settings and take measures to make these games safer for children

We will cover the topics:

• What is Roblox and Among Us? Why have these games become so massively popular?
• What is the age limit, and is it safe for your child to be playing these games?
• How can you make in-game-chat as safe as possible and restrict communication with strangers
• How to limit content which is not appropriate?

• Non-members: 49 kr

Once your registration is complete, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. The day prior to the webinar you will receive an email with the login-link.

The webinar-plattform is Zoom. You can log in using your browser or by downloading the Zoom application/program which also gives you a better user-experience. Your attendance will not be visible to other participants. It is possible to ask questions during the webinar.
